Back to Blue
Skills: Unity, C #, Physics Simulation, Hand Tracking
Back to Blue is a gravity-based navigation game that explores hybrid interaction design — combining traditional keyboard controls with hand-tracking gestures. Players tilt a 3D maze to guide a Bubble Fish toward safety while managing gravity, friction, and environmental hazards.
-
Developed a gravity-based movement system using Unity’s physics engine, allowing the maze to tilt and control the player’s motion naturally through gravity.
-
Implemented core mechanics such as bubble depletion, water collection, and pollution hazards to build tension and strategy into the gameplay loop.
-
Experimented with hand-tracking controls to enable intuitive physical interaction, exploring alternative input methods for immersive play.
-
Integrated procedural maze regeneration to provide replayability and variation across sessions.
-
Designed and built responsive UI screens, including win/loss states, tutorial interface, and score display for a polished player experience.
-
Enhanced the atmosphere with background music, skybox environments, and refined collision feedback for an engaging sensory experience.
